Central Ave. is located a few miles west of New Orleans. Several railroads terminate in New Orleans and this is where they come together. Here, on the east bank of the Mississippi river's Huey P. Long bridge, you can see trains from Union Pacific, Illinois Central, Kansas City Southern, CSX, Norfolk Southern and BNSF (ex Southern Pacific trackage). These trains are transfers between their yards (Still full size trains), they are fun to watch!
