National Train Day Open House is May 12 from 12 noon to 6 pm

Saturday May 12th from 12 noon until 6 pm is our 2018 National Train Day Open House. See early steam locomotives on up to modern diesel locomotives running on the Crescent Lines.
We have also been expanding our staging so you can see what all the work we have been doing is all about.
We have a kid’s layout for children to run trains on and a Timesaver switching layout that you can test your switching skills on and operate the trains yourself.

The Crescent City Model Railroad Club (CCMRC) is home to one of the largest and most detailed DCC HO scale layouts in the Gulf South. We are located in Metairie, Louisiana, just outside of New Orleans (aka the Crescent City). We model a fictitious railroad, called the Crescent Lines, whose main lines carry freight and passengers to and from the beautiful south.

Come see the latest updates and projects and ride the Crescent Lines.

Have fun looking for hidden details with our scavenger hunt!

Fun for all ages.

See the New Orleans Saints Super Bowl Train, Steam Trains, Freight Trains, Amtrak and lots more!
